This is the first paranormal author i read in 2005. I totally loved it. I choose this because one of my friend recommended this. I was totally hooked in her books. I started with the Dark Series and the first book was Dark Prince. The book was absolute yum and i just couldn’t keep the book down. The hero (Mikhail) is a vampire and old world guy. He in my opinion sounds gorgeous. And the heroine (Raven) is a pint sized psychic and a modern day girl. You can imagine the fireworks there.
I was captured by the authors imagination. She explains all the term she uses in her book to avoid confusion for the readers. The whole story is placed in Carpathian mountains which is in the middle europe. You have to remember all the characters in the first book as the following books are about them. Believe me all the characters are really memorable. I was skeptical about this book when i read the synopsis and i really didn’t think it would interest me. But once again my friend knew my tastes and we were hooked on it.
I was more of a any romantic story kind of girl. But i really thank my friend who introduced me to this book. Why don’t you guys try it if you could get this book that is if you like the paranormal kind of book. Happy Reading..
He came to her in the night, a predator — strength and power chiseled his features. The seduction was deep and elemental; he affected her soul. His need. His darkness. His terrible haunting loneliness. Her senses aroused, she craved the dangerous force of his body. Burned for him. And he had only touched her with his mind.
She came to him at dawn, his bleakest hour. As the beast raged inside him, threatening to consume him, he vented his centuries-old despair in an anguished cry that filled the waning night. And she answered, a ray of light, piercing his darkness. A beautiful angel. Her compassion, courage, and innocence awakened in him an exquisite longing and tenderness. He knew he must possess her, for only she could tame his savage side and lift the dark shadow from his soul. Apart they were desolate, bereft. Intertwined physically and spiritually, they could heal one another and experience an eternity of nights filled with love.
