Review : 2 True Cheek Stain

This brand is only available in UK and only Superdrug 😦 . But it is such an inexpensive brand. Usually they have offers of 3 for Β£ 5 which is such a bargain and I always stock up my clear mascara for the brow with this offer. The 2true cheek stain in Rose and Blush pink are supposed to be the dupe of Benefit cheek stain of Benetint and Posietint πŸ™‚ . I got these two just to try how it is πŸ™‚ .

The Blush pink was one of my first buy and I don’t know what I was expecting it to be but it completely surprised me. The bottle is just like the Benetint and the brush looks like a nail paint brush. The formulation is so watery that it looks like a rose stain water πŸ™‚ . I was quite doubtful when I saw this and wondered how the hell am I suppose to use it? but I tried it anyway. I tried it both on my lips and cheeks. On my cheeks, it gave a lightest pink flush you can get but remember all you need is two dots on one cheeks. If you apply more, you will probably end up like a clown πŸ˜€ .

Application for both of these cheek stain are very simple. Add two dots and then blend it on your cheek bones giving you the natural flushed look. It is perfect for the natural look especially all you need is this, mascara and lipstick and you are ready to go out πŸ™‚ .

Moving on to Rose cheek stain, It is completely different from the Blush pink. The colour is more of a cool toned pink and the formulation is much thicker like a nail polish consistency. When blended in the cheeks, it gives more of a cool toned pink flush exactly like Kareena Kapoor natural flushed pink look πŸ˜€ (that is pink flush in a very fair skin tone) .

I tried both of them but I think the Blush pink suits my skin tone more than Rose. But it is a lovely colour and I do use it occasionally. It is much more inexpensive than Benefit cosmetics and for wanting to try the product, I am not ready to spend $ 28 on one cheek stain πŸ™‚ . But for 3 for Β£ 5 , it is a best deal for trying it out πŸ™‚ .
