Motherhood Tales: Avocado & Banana Puree

Avocado is suppose to be full of “good fat” 😀 and so its fantastic for baby’s brain development. The first time I decided to try Avocado, Baby A was not happy with it at all. So I decided to add a lot of rice cereal and she was fine with it. I completely forgot about his fruit until I read the recipe about avocado and banana. Since I had a Gerber Organic banana in my pantry, I decided to combine this and make a healthy meal out of it 🙂 .

Avocado – 1

Banana – 2 tbsp

Take the mushy part out of its hard shell and blend them with the banana and make it a smooth puree. Store them in the fridge and not in a freezer. I divided them into 2 portions and stored them in the fridge. Keep in mind that it will change color but its still good enough for the baby. Before feeding the baby, add 1 tbsp of oatmeal cereal and make it into the right consistency and feed them 🙂 . Its as easy as that. No cooking necessary at all.
