Supporting Charities

I know that lot of people have their favorite charities which they support and when possible they donate money. But last week, I was wondering if you feel guilty about not donating to any particular cause? As most of you know, I am passionate about pet charities πŸ™‚ . But I also try to donate when I can to other causes as well and I feel guilty that I mostly chose pet charities. If given options, I would always choose them. Is that wrong of me? I then realized that it is not wrong but it depends on the person itself and what they are passionate about.

A person who has a close relative with a cancer will obviously donate to cancer research and that does not mean they do not support other causes, it just means they are more passionate about this particular cause. But I do sometimes feel guilty and mostly I feel blessed that I have enough to support a charity. As most of you know, I have wanted to adopt a cat for a long time, but since Baby A is young, I want to wait for few more years. And I want to adopt older cats πŸ™‚ because most them adopt young cats and kittens. The older ones are looked over and I want to bring them home and take care of them in their old days.

And I am hoping that my 2 kitties and my toddler will get along with them πŸ˜€ . I recommend all the people who are looking for pets to adopt them from your nearest shelter. Believe me when I say that they will love you unconditionally and will be loyal till their dying days. I have to say that the adopted pets will love you more for rescuing them πŸ™‚ . It is not that expensive to feed them. All Β you have to do is give up your 7 days of starbucks money and you can feed them for 6 weeks for that money πŸ™‚ . Just wanted to tell you my opinion πŸ™‚ .
