Eye Makeup Review

I have had these 3 products for more than a month and I guess I am ready to review them now πŸ™‚ . I love simple eye products which is easy to use and can be used every day.

Palladio Shadow & Liner in Silver – I found these in Sally Beauty Supply about 2 months ago and thought it would be great for inner eye or even under the brows. It is metallic silver color and it did drag a little bit on the eyes. I think it would be great inner eye highlighter and ever eyeshadow base provided you use a primer under it. I think it will settle in all the line in the eyelids. I got them in the clearance section for around $3.50 . I thought it was little bit expensive for a clearance product. So the question is, would I get this again? NO . I think the next product is worth investing in than this.

Rimmel Scandal Eyes Eyeshadow stick in Bulletproof Beige – I have wanted to get my hands on this product ever since I read good reviews about it. I finally got this in Target for about $4.50 and I also had a $1 off coupon for Rimmel so the total ended up being $3.50 which is the same price as the earlier product. This is a beautiful metallic beige color, more like a pearl sheen and I loved it. It just glides on very smoothly and very easy to blend as well, almost like it has a silicone base. And the color is perfect for inner eye highlight and under the brows. It can also be a great base on the eyelids for any nude colored eyeshadow. I definitely would like to try different colors since I think it’s totally worth the money spent on this product. The only downside is that you have to sharpen the pencil and you lose some products while doing it.

Maybelline Line Stylist in Espresso – I got these in the CVS clearance for about $1,50 . It creates a thin eyeliner and it has the twist up pencil, so you don’t have to sharpen it. I wasn’t impressed by the look of it but after using it, I just fell in love with it. The Espresso is a perfect brown color which looks natural on my eyes and it looks as it I have a thicker eye lashes. It looks natural on me and I love it for non-makeup days. The formula is perfect, it just glides on so easily and there is absolutely no tugging on the eyes. I love the thinner pencil since I can line the eyes closer to the lashes which makes the lashes look thick. I am so glad that I got this product.
