How are you my readers? Did you all miss me 😀 . I know that its been nearly a month since I blogged. I was on vacation and after I returned, I was jet lagged and didn’t feel like using my brain to blog 😀 . I am feeling lost after a jam-packed break. Perhaps, I should no say that it was a break but busy vacation.
Moving on, we went to India for our brother-in-law’s wedding and that why we were so busy out there. It seems as if we were travelling most of the time and we also fell sick in between 😦 . Lets start with the travel with our toddler 🙄 , It was fine when we were travelling from here since the flight was in the evening, she was so excited at first and then she got bored in between. At least she slept for 5 hours or so but it is very tiring to deal with a bored toddler 😦 . She didn’t like the food in the flight and she didn’t want to watch the movies, etc, etc. By the time we landed in India, We were so frustrated and sleepless. But at least we had my parents to look after her while we rested 🙂 .
The next 2 days as fine since we had to do some shopping for the wedding but we weren’t out for a long time, just 4 hours or so. Then we had to travel to my in-laws house which was tough with a toddler. She kept talking non-stop and was bored because we had a 1 hour flight and then 4 hrs of car drive to reach there :roll:. so basically it took us an entire day with all the travelling to airport and reaching in-laws house. We have never been so frustrated by travel until we have hit the toddler stage. With all the spoiling done by the grandparents she was having tantrums most of the time 😦 .
I wanted to hit all my favorite food places but alas we didn’t have time or energy as well. But we did get food poisoning 🙄 , yup, you read it right. We had horrible food poisoning that we ended up taking antibiotics. We were drinking fresh coconut water every day and we were fine by the 4th day but man it was painful 🙂 . I missed the food the most. I wanted to eat lot of different food but I was mostly eating sweets. I thought that with all the sugar I am eating, I would definitely put on weight but with the food poisoning and the travelling, I didn’t put on any weight 😀 .
The flight back was horrible as well with her whining all the way and we didn’t sleep at all 😦 . We were beyond tired and we had jet lag for about 2 weeks. I was tired most of the time and I was eating junk. I didn’t keep my eye on the food and by 3 weeks, I have put on 2 lbs 😦 . I really need to get back to eating healthy and doing some exercise. I am so freaking lazy and I really didn’t have the motivation to do it. It is really hard to wean myself from sugar and that is one of my must-do for being healthy. I do drink at least 1 liter of water everyday.
We were busy after returning from our vacation. We had our 10th Anniversary weekend after that and hubby booked us in a resort nearby and last week my brother visited us and we were busy taking him out to Portland.
I am slowly getting back to my routine and hopefully back to blogging as well. I have long list of things to do but I just don’t want to do it 😀 . Hopefully I will be regularly blogging from now on 🙂 .
