Wet n Wild Blush

I got these 2 products when Rite-aid was having their 40% off their Wet n Wild products. The one I got are the Mega Glo Illuminating powder in Spotlight Peach and Ultimate Mineral Bronzer in Amber Glow. I have always been a fan of this brand. For a drugstore, they make amazing products and the price point is fantastic. According to me, I won’t feel guilty when I spend money on this brand. There are some hits and miss products but mostly they are hit for me.

L to R : Spotlight Peach, Amber Glow

I was into the highlight powder which lead me to buy the Illuminating powder in Spotlight Peach. The packaging is a simple plastic and the formula is good, very creamy in consistency. There are 4 different colors in the product, light pink shade, deep peachy shade, bronze shade and a highlighting medium peach shade. But when you just swish the brush in all these colors and apply, they give you a beautiful peachy shade. Though it is an illuminating powder, I use them as a blush. It suits my skin tone and it give a beautiful peach glow.

The next product is the mineral bronzer in Amber Glow. I had my eye on this for a long time since everyone was saying that this was a dupe for the limited edition MAC Stereo Rose. First of all, I am not a fan of those loose mineral products. It’s a pain in the a** to maintain and gets everywhere as soon as you open the product and let not talk about the not-so-much travel friendly packaging. Anyhow, I just wanted to see if they are the dupe of one of my all time favorite MAC blush.

My opinion, It’s not a dupe 😦 . The Stereo Rose is an orange coral color whereas Amber rose is a brown coral color. But it does give you the same look of a beautiful sheen but just not the exact color. I do like the color but somehow I am not reaching for this product. Overall, I don’t think you need them in your collection since I rarely use them.
